"love makes the world go 'round" is one of my favorite precious moments figurines in my collection! my partner got it for me for our 7th anniversary. the design reads "still there is this terrible desire to be loved, still there is this horror at being left behind." this design embodies the sacrifices we make for love, and the innocence in hoping or believing that it can be enough; because it can be. the fleeting moments can make us forget the importance or rarity of true love as time passes and we hold onto the fear of being left behind in other spaces of our lives; spaces that simply aren't meant for us in this moment. in this fear, we are overlooking the love that has always been meant for you, and always will be.
